Apapa Customs Hits N1.378 Trillion Revenue Target in Six Months.

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) achieves N1.3 trillion revenue milestone at Apapa Port in the first half of 2025. Comptroller Babatunde Olomu, Apapa Command’s CAC, reveals this during a courtesy visit to NAGAFF headquarters.

Comptroller Olomu attributes Apapa Command’s N1.378 trillion revenue collection to strategic collaboration with stakeholders like NAGAFF. He highlights the importance of partnerships in driving Customs modernization, citing initiatives like B’Odogwu where NAGAFF members have contributed to developing home-grown solutions.

Comptroller Olomu praised NAGAFF Academy for its forward-thinking approach to capacity building in freight forwarding. He also urges NAGAFF members to prioritize their health and well-being, adopting regular exercise and healthy living habits.

NAGAFF Founder Dr. Boniface Aniebonam commended Comptroller Olomu’s leadership, noting a significant reduction in unprofessional conduct at Apapa Command. He urges freight forwarders to prioritize transparency and honesty in cargo declarations, stressing accurate documentation is crucial for the destination inspection system’s success.

The President of NAGAFF, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, lauded Comptroller Olomu for his proactive engagement with the association, stating that the visit demonstrates a renewed commitment to trust, collaboration, and progress.
