SEGUN MUSA REFURBISHES NAGAFF HQTRS WITH SEATING CHAIRS AND TABLES

DR SEGUN MUSA, Deputy National President of NAGFF, has donated 50 chairs and 15 tables to the NAGFF headquarters to accommodate the growing number of members. With over 5,000 members in the Western Zone alone, comprising Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, and Kogi states, this initiative aims to enhance the facilities to cater to the increasing membership, particularly young freight forwarders.

Meanwhile, Chief Amuluonyenago Abateghete, a key stakeholder in NAGFF, has pledged to renovate and upgrade the two public toilets at the headquarters to standard facilities. Additionally, the Deputy National President (Seaports) has taken charge of fueling and assigning a part-time driver to the new bus donated by the president for a year. Furthermore, Princess Chi Eze is organizing and sponsoring an all-night celebration to express gratitude to the president for the ₦40 million bus donation.

This development signals a promising future for NAGAFF, Nigeria’s largest freight forwarding association. Notably, CRFFN has recognized NAGFF as the leading association in the country, citing its large membership, educational initiatives, and expertise in freight forwarding and logistics.

However, it is important that we remind the big boys and girls in nagaff that there is still a lot ahead to be done. The 500m naira national secretariat is a task that must be done.

We shall continue to thank and appreciate our good friend and brother, late Dikko Inde, the comptroller General of Customs who helped our sister association, the association of Nigeria licensed customs agents in building their national secretariat and onne zonal office.

It is most unfortunate that when it became his will to assist nagaff, an untimely death occurred. It is our hope that the seating comptroller General of Customs under corporate responsibility shall conclude the good work of which his predecessor started.

Nagaff is a non profit making organisation and it is our hope that the Nigeria ports authority, NIMASA , NAFDAC , NIGERIA SHIPPERS COUNCIL AND STANDARDS ORGANISATION etc must start to add value in our port development.

Nagaff and it’s members are the major facilitators to the high level customs duty collection, noting that we are strategically positioned as the artery of the gate ways imports and export transactions in the customs ports and borders.
