PORT HARCOURT AREA II COMMAND ACHIEVES HISTORIC N76.07 BILLION REVENUE COLLECTION IN OCTOBER 2025
The Nigeria Customs Service, Port Harcourt II Area Command, has set a new record with an unprecedented revenue collection of ₦76,075,447,369.83 in October 2025 — the highest monthly revenue in the Command’s history. This remarkable feat reflects strong leadership, strategic planning, and collective dedication across all levels of the Command.
The milestone was driven by the deliberate and consistent stakeholder engagement led by Comptroller Aliyu M. Alkali, who has prioritized open dialogue with stakeholders and regular meetings with unit heads. His approach emphasizes trade facilitation, compliance, and value-driven operations — key factors that have contributed to the Command’s enhanced revenue performance.
This outstanding result also demonstrates Comptroller Alkali’s steadfast commitment to supporting national economic growth through effective revenue generation, enforcement of trade compliance, and the promotion of legitimate business activities.
To strengthen operational efficiency, the Customs Area Controller strategically redeployed officers based on the Command’s operational priorities, ensuring better resource utilization and productivity. This proactive approach has played a vital role in surpassing revenue expectations.
Expressing appreciation to stakeholders, importers, licensed agents, and officers of the Command, Comptroller Alkali commended their patriotism, teamwork, and dedication, which made this achievement possible.
