Chief Henry Imo Nwahiri, a contender for the presidency of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, has called on all Ndigbos residing in Lagos to come out and vote for him in the upcoming elections. Speaking from his campaign secretariat, Chief Nwahiri emphasized his commitment to uniting the Ndigbo community in Lagos, restoring their dignity, and ensuring they speak with one voice.

As a detribalized leader with a proven track record, I am committed to promoting inter-ethnic understanding and cooperation. I am seeking your support in empowering Ndigbos in Lagos to reclaim their greatness. Chief Chris Okolie, a key member of Chief Henry’s campaign team, expressed his confidence in Chief Henry’s ability to lead Ndigbos in Lagos State. He cited Chief Henry’s impressive track record as a testament to his potential for success in this role. Chief Chris urged everyone to rally behind Chief Henry, emphasizing that his election would be a positive development for the community.
Moreover, Chief Chris Okolie, highlighted the pride that the Aigbaka community would feel if one of their own, Chief Henry, were to become the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State. He encouraged the Aigbaka community to extend their full support to Chief Henry, making his vision a reality.
Chief Ben Osuoha, a member of the campaign team, enthusiastically endorsed Chief Henry, describing him as a “man of the people.” He expressed confidence that if Chief Henry were to lead Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos State, it would mark a significant turning point for the better. According to Chief Ben, Chief Henry’s detribalized nature, combined with his deep understanding of Ndigbo values and spirit, make him an exceptional leader. He has received the blessing of Eze Nicholas Emenike Njoku, the Eze Ndigbo, Aigbaka Community in Ejigbo. Eze Nicholas Njoku, Eze Ohazureme 1 of Aigbaka, Ejigbo and his community have endorsed one of their own and urge him to make the community proud. He advised him to imbibe Eziokwu bu Ndu (truth is life) in all his endeavours. Eze Njoku went further to advise all members (Ndigbos) in Aigbaka community to imbibe the virtues of truth, if this is behind our minds, the sky is our starting point, he concluded.
