CUSTOMS EXTENDS KINDNESS TO KEBBI PUPILS, DONATES FOOD AND WRITING MATERIALS
Comptroller Iheanacho Ernest Ojike, the Customs Area Controller of Kebbi Command, recently extended a helping hand to the future leaders of Nigeria by visiting the Gwandu Emirates primary school in Kebbi State. During his charity visit, he generously donated essential writing materials, including books, pencils, biros, and foodstuffs, to over 1,700 pupils of the renowned Gwandu Emirate Model Primary School in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
During the session, he emphasized the importance of understanding the laws of the land and the role of Customs in the national economy. He also highlighted the negative impact of smuggling on the national economy and encouraged the pupils to refrain from such activities.
Ojike’s visit was not only educational but also philanthropic, as he donated writing materials and foodstuffs to over 1,700 pupils. The headmaster, Malam Aminu Sani, appreciated the gesture, describing it as a form of support to the pupils. He also commended the Nigeria Customs Service for being a compassionate and responsible government organization.
Furthermore, the representative of the Emirates Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Bashir KKB Galadiman Gwandu said the chairman of the council of chiefs, emir of Gwandu Alhaji Iliyasu Bahir is extending his heartfelt message and blessings to the controller and his team for this kind gesture.
