AMATO Lagos Inaugurates New Zonal Chairmen, Pledges Stronger Unity
The Association of Maritime Truck Owners (AMATO), Lagos State Chapter, has inaugurated new zonal chairmen as part of efforts to strengthen unity, improve coordination, and enhance operational efficiency within the maritime trucking sector.
Speaking during the inauguration, AMATO National President, Chief Remi Ogungbemi, urged the newly elected leaders to promote discipline, transparency, and collaboration among truck owners while addressing challenges affecting port operations.
He reaffirmed the association’s commitment to protecting members’ interests, improving traffic management around the ports, and working closely with relevant government agencies to ensure a more efficient trucking system.
The new zonal chairmen pledged to foster unity among members and support initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and the overall growth of the maritime transport industry.
